Flowers celebrate the occasion by adding a very personal
touch. Tell us about your commemoration or festivity and your

Get Well
Most occasions are appropriate for fresh cut flowers, but in
some situations plants or permanent flowers are a better idea;
for example, when the recipient has extreme allergies or is
unable to physically care for a plant or fresh flowers.
Hospitalized recipients cannot have live plants or flowers in an
intensive care area. A small permanent arrangement is colorful,
easy to transport and no maintenance.
New Baby
We most often see a birth recognized with a beautiful mixed
fresh cut floral arrangement in a vase for the new mother. (Vased
arrangements without floral foam last the longest in a warm
hospital atmosphere.) Arrangements could also be a colorful mix
of pink and whites for a girl or blues and yellows for a boy. We
do have some novelty containers- baby animals and blue or pink
vases and some plush animals to attach to the design. We can put
a cute arrangement in a small basket or baby dish or child’s
bicycle helmet, toy truck or plastic doll carriage. Let us know
your interest and budget and we can make it happen.

A vase of fresh cut flowers is always appropriate unless there
are circumstances as already covered. You can be as simple and inexpensive as a bud vase with a single
flower (under $15) Rose, Gerbera Daisy, Carnation, Dendrobium
Orchid, or lavish with a huge vase of mixed garden flowers and
exotic stems ($85 and up).In the case of dining celebrations, you might order a long and
low centerpiece arrangement to accentuate the sit down banquet
table or a tall designed arrangement to decorate the buffet
table. Both of these types of arrangements are designed in
containers with floral design foam to allow more control over
placement of the flowers. They begin in price around $55 and go
up according to size and types of flowers used.
And, please consider:
- A hand-tied bouquet, which the
recipient receives designed and fastened and ready to drop into
a vase of water. Hand-tieds can be simple or elaborate and start
at $25 and up.
- A Presentation Bouquet, which is a fan shaped one-dimensional
arrangement of flowers with the flowers placed on top of greens
wrapped in clear cellophane and bound at the bottom with ribbon.
It’s a glamorous look with great wow factor. This is one of the
most appropriate ways to celebrate recitals, graduation or any
public venue festivity. Most presentation bouquets start at $40
unless it is a mini version for a child.
- A corsage or boutonnière is
also a lovely way to recognize accomplishments.
